I don't know that Soggy goes both ways but maybe he/she is like a snail and therefore is bi-sexual physically as well as psychologically. I don't really want to think of this! All I do know is that as Sam is a duck he best be wary if Soggy says he is craving Chinese food!
I think Sam the purple Jam is a platypus, but not sure if Soggy is an octopus or squid or snail.
